HAPPY NEW YEAR! This is a special post that compiles what I found are the most helpful and necessary recipes for a New Cook…which in many cases means a Newlywed Cook. At the end of the post you will see links to some friends New Year-New You posts that I recommend checking out for starting the New Year off right (along with some tempting Giveaways!
If you are like me, when you were in you’re twenties you threw together your meals at the last minute, ordered take-out and delivery and occasionally helped your family cook on the holidays. Then you get older, sometimes married and there are two people that need feeding and for some, husband or wife or both, the desire to start nesting and cooking for the family creeps up on you.
Before my blog, I would try a recipe, tweak it a bit, and then proceed to completely forget if I liked it or didn’t and what I changed or added. In this post, I share with you some of the recipes that I have found are both simple and essential for the new or newlywed cook.
