Happy Anniversary, Everyday Cooking Adventures! I’ve been working on my blog, which means cooking and baking a ton of recipes, for a year now. I accompanied the pork chops with Martha Stewart’s Potato & Fennel Bake which was seriously phenomenal. I plan on making the Potato Fennel Bake for Christmas this year so my parents can taste the deliciousness.

This recipe has three basic steps. Easy! It also has minimal ingredients and can be made in a flash if you are short on time. The chops were very tender and juicy instead of the usual pork chop rep of being dry. Try this easy chop recipe on a busy weeknight and you won’t be disappointed. Here are my honey glazed chops:

Honey and Spice-Glazed Pork Chops
Recipe from: Cooking Light, January 2002
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- Cooking spray
- 2 (2 oz. each) boneless center-cut loin pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl.
2. Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper; cook 2 minutes on each side or until browned.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low; add honey mixture. Cook 10 minutes or until done, turning pork once.
My husband adores pork chops, and with your Potato Fennel Bake, this would make a fab meal. Yum!
I liked the Potato Fennel Bake even more than the meat! 🙂
